PARAGON: New Album Will Be More Aggressive Than Last
November 19, 2002German melodic metallers PARAGON are writing songs for the follow-up to this year's critically-acclaimed "Law Of The Blade" CD for a tentative July 2003 release through Remedy Records/Zomba. "Judging from the instrumental stuff we have so far it will be even more aggressive [than] the last album — so don't say you have not been warned!" stated bassist Jan Bünning.
In other news, PARAGON will shortly record a cover version of MANOWAR's "The Oath" for an upcoming MANOWAR tribute CD, due next year. "The last time we wanted to do it I got a band cold a wasn't able to play any note and we postponed everything," Bünning said about the efforts to complete the recording. "Hope to have the new studio date soon."
PARAGON's version of HELLOWEEN's "Metal Invaders" will be included on "The Keepers Of Jericho Part. II — A Tribute To Helloween" CD, due Dec. 9 through Spain's Arise Records.
